How do I calculate the shipping costs and delivery time?

Our calculator is designed so that you only have to enter the dimensions and weight with the destination country and at a glance you can compare all shipping options.

Why do I need dimensions to calculate a shipping rate?

The calculator calculates the total volume of the dimensions you specify.

Together with the weight, the volume is needed to calculate the correct price.

Is shipping via Worldwide Cargo Solutions cheaper than direct with the carrier?

As a logistics intermediary we trade in higher volumes, which means that we obtain high discounted rates from the carriers and therefore you can ship worldwide more economically.

Are there additional costs such as import duties or VAT?

When you receive a shipment from outside the EU, you may owe VAT and / or import duties. This is determined by customs and has no influence on Worldwide Cargo Solutions.

The receiving party pays any import duties due unless explicitly stated.

Can I also insure my shipment?

You can insure your package against 1.5% of the value of the total content with a minimum administration fee of € 15.

For example, if the content of your shipment concerns € 500, then the administration costs for the insurance are € 15. So 1.5% of € 500 = € 7.50 but the minimum administration costs of the insurance are € 15, -.

So we charge an administration fee of € 15 for the insurance. You can indicate whether you want to use insurance via our rate calculator.

You insure your shipment against damage, theft and loss.

How do I register my shipment with you?

You can register the shipment yourself via the calculator by filling in all the details or you can choose to request a quote by email.

How can I pay?

At Worldwide Cargo Solutions, individuals pay in advance and for companies it is possible to pay afterwards. You will receive a digital invoice by e-mail.

You can pay in advance safely and easily with iDeal, Bancontact and credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express).

(At the moment it is only possible to pay in advance, the option to pay afterwards will be added for companies very soon. If you wish to pay afterwards, please contact our customer service.)

When can my package be picked up?

Your shipment will be picked up and processed within 24 hours.

How long is my shipment on the way?

Depending on the destination, this can vary from 1 working day to several working days. In the price overview you can see per carrier and type of service (economy / express / priority) what the estimated number of working days is for the transport of your shipment.

Delivery times are in working days and always subject to, for example, holidays, rural areas, weather conditions and customs processes.

If your shipment is transported to a destination outside the European Union, your shipment will be cleared by local customs. This can sometimes take a few days, because customs have to follow various formalities so that the carrier can ultimately deliver your shipment. After all, customs is a government agency over which we unfortunately cannot influence.

Experience shows that approximately 90% of shipments are neatly delivered within the specified delivery time. We believe it is important to be transparent in this and to communicate this information with you, because we understand how important your shipment is for you. I have booked a shipment, what now?

We will receive a message as soon as the shipment has been paid. We will then provide you with the shipping labels that we send to your specified email as soon as possible.

I don't have a label printer, what now?

You must then print out the shipping labels that you have received by e-mail and place them on the shipment. The courier will then take your shipment and shipping labels to initiate transport.

I don't know the weight and dimensions of my package. What do I need to fill in?

The weight and dimensions of the package are very important to give a correct rate.

You can find out the weight of the package by weighing yourself on a scale with and then without the package and then calculating the difference. You can also use a kitchen scale if it concerns a smaller or lighter package.

You can also look up the object online.

The weight and dimensions can often be found in the description of the product.

Make sure that the weight and dimensions of the package are as precise as possible. This prevents additional costs afterwards and possible delays.

I am a private individual and want to send a Pallet, what now?

To send a pallet, we recommend that you do this business-wise, several factors must be taken into account: If you are at home when your pallet is picked up, a truck can be in your street and / or driveway, possibly a forklift truck is needed and the pallet can reach and everything follows according to the CMR fuse.
